Community Mine Is OPEN!!!
We have introduced a community mine just outside of the Shopping District north east of spawn.
Why do we need a community mine? While we are providing a vanilla experience on the server, we want to try and keep the world fresh as long as possible. One of the ways we can do this is by having a community mine. We are resetting the mine on a weekly basis so you will constantly have access to all the ores you will need!
What will I find in the mines?
The mine consists of 7 levels. The deeper you go in the mine the greater the chance of mining the more valuable ores.
Levels 1-2: Stone, Granite, Diorite, Andesite, Gravel, Coal, Iron, Gold, Redstone, Lapis
Levels 3-4: Stone, Granite, Diorite, Andesite, Gravel, Coal, Iron, Gold, Redstone, Lapis, Emerald, Diamond
Levels 5-7: Stone, Granite, Diorite, Andesite, Gravel, Coal, Iron, Gold, Redstone, Lapis, Emerald, Diamond, Ancient Debris
How can I enter the mines?
You can use the path from spawn or use /warp mine to get to the mine entrance.
Before you enter the mine you need to purchase a key from the server shop.
Keys for each level of the mine can be purchased using in-game currency. Check /shop for prices. Take the key to the correct level of the mine. The open the chest with the key. You will receive a pickaxe [material depending on level] and some torches. Then, head through the doorway and start mining!
Whats to stop me mining everything?
There are a number of limits to the mine to make sure it is fair for everyone.
1. There is a 5 minute limit starting from when you open the chest. After the 5 minutes you will be teleported back to the mine entrance
2. Each level has a cooldown, the deeper in the mine the longer the cooldown [ranges from 3 hours to 5 days].
3. Bedrock surrounds each level to keep players within the confines of the mine.
